Cultural Cell

The cell organises cultural programs to encourage students to explore their creativity and share their cultural heritage. Sports Cell

Objective:

Sports are a crucial part of a student’s growth and development. They help in the development of mental health and physical fitness of the body. Since the inception of Balaji college of nursing students have been encouraged to participate in various indoor & outdoor sports activities throughout the year. Facilities such as volleyball court, Cricket Court, kabaddi, Chess, Carom etc. Available for students at campus. The Sports Committee is responsible for organizing and promoting sports, recreational activities for students. By offering a diverse range of sports activities, the Sports Committee enhances the overall student experience, promotes holistic development, and strengthens the sense of belonging and camaraderie within the nursing college community.

WDC Cell

Objective:

To create and develop a congenial environment for women employees (including teaching, support staff, and contractual as well as daily wages employees) and students (rural, urban, specially-abled, underprivileged, marginalised), allowing them to reach their full potential.
To undertake the awareness programmes on gender sensitization, women’s rights and women empowerment in university campuses and colleges.
To sensitize the students towards the special needs of all genders
To develop equitable opportunities for the educational avenues for women
To build a gender sensitive and inclusive campus

NSS Cell

Objective:

Understand the community in which they work.
Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem solving process.
Develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.
Utilize their knowledge in finding practical solution to individual and community problems.
Develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities.
Gain skills in mobilizing community participation.
Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude.
Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters.
Practice national integration and social harmony

NCC Cell

Objectives:

Character and Leadership Development: Instills courage, discipline, leadership, and teamwork through structured training and activities.
Skill and Physical Training: Provides military-style training, self-defence, adventure camps, and survival skills to promote fitness and confidence.
Community and National Service: Encourages participation in social initiatives like health camps, blood donation, and environmental drives to foster social responsibility.
Cultural and Career Opportunities: Offers youth exchange programs and career-building experiences that promote unity, personal growth, and national integration.

Media Cell

Objective:

Media cell is established to play a significant role in projecting college activities, disseminating information for students related to admission, academics, cocurricular activities, extension activities, examination, and achievements of the college. It is serving as an important link between students, teachers, and other stakeholders of the academic world.

Alumni Association Cell

Objectives:

To communicate on regular basis with the members of the Alumni.
To foster more extended relationships between present students and staff and others.
To organize, social, educational and networking events at School level.
To encourage Alumni to assist in the further development of the members of the school.
To provide continuing education enrichment experience for alumni and present students of the school.
To institute prizes, scholarships to merit students and financial aid to poor and deserving students of the collage.
To hold periodical alumni meetings at Local level.
